Released simultaneously with the movie. Full color photographs; 153 pp.. Based on the 1993 feature film, Heaven and Earth, written and directed by Oliver Stone, this volume contains a narrative based on the screenplay and a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the movie.

He has been an active participant in the study of the effects of meditation on the brain and is author of various best-selling books, including "Happiness," and "Why Meditate?"From the first page, Ricard introduces the reader to the various forms of altruism and portrays “true love” as a supreme form of compassion. To Hudson, salvation is a question of seeking and finding on the matter ofimmortality. It's written clearly and simply--you never feel like it's too complicated or that you can't do it. With the title containing National Geographic, I had high expectations for this book. Art-wise its just awful, the characters only have detail in their faces in close ups other times its eyes nose mouth, or heavy shadowing like they are all Spawn without his mask. Very short read, only 9 pages long. The communications landscape of our country is changing, not because of what goes in in some elitist J-school or because Jon Stewart shoots his mouth off and hides behind his clown nose, but because people like you and me, bloggers, everyday ordinary people, are doing to it.As Breitbart puts it, it's time to walk toward the fire. Always up for a tale involving the "Merc with a Mouth", the "Regenerating Degenerate".
